This information is intended to help USA Staffing customers understand the recent changes to the announcement area, which was updated to support the federal hiring freeze enacted as part of Executive Order 14170.

Announcement Confirmation Modal

USA Staffing added a confirmation popup that requires HR specialists to select one of six options when releasing a job announcement. The selected option does not prevent users from moving forward with the announcement. It just logs the reason for tracking. 

The selected option will be available through reporting in April 2025. It is not currently captured in history, but we hope to add that visibility at some point in the future.
