Building custom response options for items created in a competency network

To build a custom response option for an item created in a competency network:

1. View a competency network.
2. Click Items.
3. Click Create New Item from the Add Items drop-down list.

    

   

    

4. Enter the Item Text.
5. Toggle on Screen-out Question, if applicable.
6. Select the appropriate item from the Link To Competency drop-down list.
7. Select a Item Source from the drop-down list.
8. Select the Response Type from the drop-down list.
9. Select Item-Specific Response Options from the Scale drop-down list.
10. Click Add Response.

     

    

     

11. Enter the Response Text.
12. Enter the Base Value.
13. Add additional responses as needed.
14. Click Save & Close.
