Creating a review

To create a review:

  1. Open a request
  2. Click the Vacancy Number link.
  3. Click the + tab and select Reviews from the drop-down list.
  4. Click Create Review.
  5. Select a Review Type from the drop-down list.
  6. Enter the Review Name.
  7. Select an Owner from the drop-down list, if appropriate.
  8. Select a Due Date from the calendar drop-down.
  9. The Auto Recall Date will display an agency set default. Modify, if necessary.

  10. Click Select Instructions from the gear icon to select an instructional template.
  11. Enter the Review Instructions if not using an instructional template. The instructions may not exceed 5000 characters.
  12. Place a check in the appropriate Attachments boxes for a Job Opportunity Announcement (JOA) review type. These options are only available when Job Opportunity Announcement (JOA) is selected from Review Type in the Review Information section.
  13. Click Add Applicant List if this is an Applicant List review. This option is only available when Applicant List is selected from Review Type in the Review Information section.
  14. Click Add Assessment if this is an assessment review. This option is only available when Assessment is selected in Attachments.
  15. Add a request, if applicable.
  16. Add a follower, if applicable.
  17. Click Save.
  18. Click Review Assignments.
  19. Add a reviewer.

  20. Click Send Review.

Note: For JOA reviews, the Hiring Manager will not be able to use the preview the announcement button, unless the HR User has generated a USAJOBS Preview. For instructions, please see Previewing an announcement on USAJOBS
