Creating an interdisciplinary assessment

To create an interdisciplinary assessment:

  1. Create an interdisciplinary vacancy.
  2. Click the Assessment Package tab. For instructions, see Opening a tab.
  3. Click Assessment Package tab. The Create Assessment tab displays
     
    New Assessment
     
  4. Click Create Assessment.
  5. Enter the Assessment Name.
  6. Toggle off the Screen-out purpose, if the assessment will not be used to screen-out applicants.
  7. Toggle off the Rating purpose, if the assessment will not be used for scoring purposes.
  8. Select the Owner from the drop-down list, if applicable.
  9. Click Save.
  10. Click Competencies.
  11. Click Add from Library from the Add Competencies drop-down list.
  12. The system defaults to the series entered on the Staffing Approach page. Modify if necessary.
  13. Add additional Filters, if applicable.
  14. Click Search.

  15. Select desired Competencies.
  16. Click Add & Close or Add & Continue to save or Cancel to close.
  17. Click Assessment Package.
  18. Click Assessment Plan.
  19. Select Template from the Open options dropdown icon.
  20. The Assessment Package Search page displays. The fields default to the selections on the Staffing Approach page. Proceed or make changes if necessary.
  21. Click the Search button.

  22. Click the Name link.
  23. A confirmation messaged displays, Are you sure you want to copy this template?
  24. Click Copy Template.
  25. Click Done.
  26. Click Categories. Verify categories are applicable.

  27. Click Assessment Plan.
  28. Click the Assessment Name link.
  29. Click Assessment Questionnaire.
  30. Click the Edit box of screen-out question 1.

  31. Place a check in the Screen-out check-box.
  32. Select Yes from the Required drop-down list.
  33. Click Save and Close.
  34. Repeat for screen-out questions two and three.
  35. Click Screen-Out Criteria.
  36. Click Add Screen-Out.
  37. Enter the Screen-Out Name, such as Basic Quals 801.
  38. Check the appropriate Apply Screen-Out to Rating Combinations, i.e. 0801-11
  39. Select the Ineligibility Code.
  40. Check all Not Qualifying Responses for the 801 series.
  41. Click Save and Close.
  42. Click Add Screen-Out.
  43. Enter the Screen-Out Name, such as Basic Quals 1301.
  44. Check the appropriate Apply Screen-Out to Rating Combinations, i.e. 1301-11,
  45. Select the Ineligibility Code.
  46. Select the second question for the 1301 series from the Item drop-down list.
  47. Check all Not Qualifying Responses for the 1301 series.
  48. Click Save and Close.
  49. Click Add Screen-Out.
  50. Enter the Screen-Out Name, such as Additional Requirements GS-11.
  51. Check all of the Apply Screen-Out to Rating Combinations.
  52. Select the Ineligibility Code.
  53. Select the third question from the Item drop-down list.
     
    Screen Out Criteria
     
  54. Check all appropriate Not Qualifying Responses.
  55. Click Save and Close.
  56. Click Rating Criteria.
  57. Click the + icon.
  58. Modify if applicable.
  59. Click Test to Complete Assessment Package. Make corrections to the Test Case Scenario, if applicable.
