Release 12.0 - 8/21/2020
- Added the ability to upload multiple documents at once and add documents via drag and drop in the Documents window within Hiring Actions and all Reviews types. HM Users will see a new option to drag and drop or choose up to five files to upload from their computer.

Release 11.8 - 6/26/2020
- Added an initial version of a Hiring Manager dashboard. This dashboard includes four sections that will allow hiring managers to access information easily and quickly. The dashboard includes:
- Incomplete Reviews – Displays reviews that the logged-in Hiring Manager has been assigned but not yet returned to HR. Reviews can be sorted in ascending or descending due date order and the full review can be accessed by clicking on the Position Title.
- My Hires – Displays new hires associated with requests where the Hiring Manager user is listed as the “Supervisor/Manager” on the New Hire record. This table displays basic new hire information such as email address and EOD (if available) and is searchable by name, email, and position title. Clicking on the new hire’s name will open the request associated with the new hire.
- Complete Reviews – Displays assigned reviews that were Returned, Auto Recalled, or reviews where the logged-in Hiring Manager has completed their individual review assignment. Reviews in this table are searchable by position title, review name, or request number Additionally, users can filter reviews by review type (Applicant List, JOA, and Panel Review). Clicking on the position title will open a read-only version of the review.
- My Hiring Actions – Displays requests and associated information where the Hiring Manager user is listed as the “Requester”. The Hiring Actions are searchable by position title, request number, and location. Clicking on an individual Hiring Action record opens it within the Hiring Action context.

Release 11.7 - 5/29/2020
Position Description Library
- Created a library for Hiring Managers to search and view position descriptions (PDs) that are published by HR in the Classification module. Hiring Manages with any of the System-level Hiring Manager permission profiles will have access to the PD Library by default. Office Administrators must enable this capability on Custom permission profiles.
- Hiring Managers may search for PDs based on the PD number, position title, series, or grade.
- Search results include the following:
- Position Title
- Pay plan – Series – Grade
- PD Number
- A preview of the Introductory Statement, if applicable
- Last Modified date
- The ability to view a PDF version of the PD, including all fields entered in the source PD. This is the same ‘View PDF’ option that HR users have within the classification module.
- The ability to view documents attached to the PD

- Added the following filtering options to the Hiring Actions page of the Hiring Managers interface:
- Position – users can further narrow hiring actions by:
- Series
- Pay Plans
- Grades
- Request Status
- Customer
- Location
- Requester – Defaults to the logged in user.

Hiring Manager Survey
- Included a Feedback button on the Hiring Manager interface, which will allow users to answer the Hiring Manager Feedback Survey and submit comments directly to the USA Staffing Program Office. This survey will be used to collect comments from Hiring Managers across government who utilize the interface as part of the recruitment and selection process. Their input will help us measure the effectiveness of the interface and will also influence future changes to the system. The survey is optional and includes the following questions:
- What is your overall satisfaction with the Hiring Manager site today? (5-star scale)
- Which part(s) of the system did you visit today? (multiple choice)
- Hiring Actions
- Job Announcement Review
- Applicant/List Certificates Review
- Panel List Review
- Were you able to navigate the Hiring Manager interface to accomplish your objectives? (strongly agree to strongly disagree scale)
- Did you require assistance? (yes/no)
- Additional Comments? (multiple choice and supplemental textbox)

Hiring Manager Dashboard
- Added a dashboard to the hiring manager interface. This dashboard includes 4 sections that will allow hiring managers to access information easily and quickly. This functionality will not be deployed to production until we have conducted usability testing and gathered reactions from users. Please share your thoughts and feedback on the new dashboard with your Account Manager!
- Incomplete Reviews – Incomplete reviews and associated information are listed in ascending due date order and users can click the position title to open the review. Incomplete reviews can be sorted by ascending due date or descending due date.
- Complete Reviews – Past reviews and associated information are listed in due date order and users can click the position title to open the read only review. Reviews in this table are searchable by position title, review name, and request number and are filterable by review type.
- My Hires – New Hire records associated with the requests where the user was the “Supervisor” identified after selection and associated information are listed in descending EOD date order. Clicking on the New Hire record opens the request that the new hire is linked to. New Hires in this table are searchable by name, email, and position title.
- My Hiring Actions - Hiring actions and associated information where the user is the “Requester” are listed in descending creation date order. These Hiring Actions are searchable by position title, request number, and location. Clicking on the Hiring Action record opens it within the Hiring Action context.
Position Description Library
- Created a library for Hiring Managers to search and view position descriptions (PDs) that are published by HR in the Classification module. This functionality will not progress to production until we add business rules that restrict access based on permission profiles. When deployed to production, agency Office Administrators will be able to completely disable hiring manager access to the PD library if they wish.
- Hiring Managers may search for PDs based on the PD number, position title, series, and grade.
- Search results include the following:
- Position Title
- Pay plan – Series – Grade
- PD Number
- A preview of the Introductory Statement, if applicable
- Last Modified date

Release 11.4 - 3/6/2020
- Updated the Returned filter on the Reviews page to include reviews in Returned or Auto Recalled status. Note: Reviews that have been manually recalled by an HR user are not identified as Returned.
Release 11.0 - 10/19/2019
- Updated the values in the Estimated Travel Required and Security Clearance Level fields of the Position Settings section for Hiring Actions to align with the options available to HR users.
