The Manage Tasks page is where you review, add tasks and assign workflows to be completed during the new hire process. The number to the right indicates how many tasks are associated with the new hire record that must be completed by the agency, new hire or hiring manager. To access this page, click the appropriate new hire Name link from the New Hires tab. You can sort any of the columns in this table in ascending or descending order. The following elements are displayed:
- Assign Workflow. This button allows you to assign workflows to a new hire record. For instructions, see Assigning a new hire workflow.
- Add Task. This button allows you to assign a task to a new hire record.
- All Statuses. This drop-down list allows you to filter tasks in a specific status. Statuses include:
- Pending
- Active
- Complete
- Cancelled
- Show All. This drop-down list allows to filter tasks by a specific type. The options are New Hire, Human Resources or Hiring Manager.
- Gray Box. A check in this box allows you to delete a task(s) or assign a due date to a task(s).
- Task Name. This column displays the task name. Access a task by clicking on the link.
- Owner. This column defaults to the name of the user who approved the request. This field cannot be changed once a task is complete. For instructions, see Assigning an owner to a new hire task
- Status. This column displays the status of the task. A locked record may only be changed to Active.
- Due. This column displays the due date of the tasks. This field cannot be changed once a task is complete.
- Completed Date. This is the date the task was completed. For the Verify New Hire Arrived for Duty task, this is the Start Date.
- Delete Tasks. This button will display when a check is placed in the Gray box box to the left of a task(s). Click this button to delete a task(s).
- Due Date. This drop-down calendar displays when a check(s) is placed in the Gray box box to the left of a task(s). Select the due date for the checked task(s).
- The due dates of the Transmit Forms to eOPF and Transmit Documents to eOPF tasks will be blank if the Verify the New Hire Arrived for their First Day of Duty task is Active. A due date cannot be manually set to these tasks while the Verify the New Hire Arrived for their First Day of Duty task is Active.
- The due dates of the Transmit Forms to eOPF and Transmit Documents to eOPF tasks will be set to 90 days from the new hire's start date when the Verify the New Hire Arrived for their First Day of Duty task is marked Complete. You can manually update the due date as needed. For instructions, see Completing the verify new hire arrived for first day of duty task
- Apply Dates. This button will display when a check is placed in the Gray box box to the left of a task(s). Click this button to apply the due dates to the checked task(s).
