Using the age formula

To set the maximum entry age requirement and use the age formula:

  1. Open a request.
  2. Click the Vacancy Number link in the Vacancy Created section.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Select the Collect age information radio button.
  5. Check Use Maximum Age and enter the maximum age required for the position.

  6. Check Use Effective Age (Calculated by subtracting Qualifying Experience from actual age).
  7. Click Save.

Note: The Date of Birth and years and months of experience will be collected in the Eligibilities section of the Announcement Questionnaire. By collecting date of birth and experience details from applicants, the system can calculate the age the applicant can re-enter a covered position if his/her current age is beyond the initial maximum entry age.
