The Hurdle Criteria page allows you to define Cutpoints and Proportional Weights for hurdled assessments. This page will only appear if you have added more than one hurdle on the Assessment Plan page. To access this page, select a Request Number in Pending Recruitment status from the Requests tab on the Dashboard, click the Vacancy Number link in the Vacancy Created section, click the Assessment Package tab, and click Hurdle Criteria. If this tab is not open, see Opening a tab. Alternatively, you can select a Complete Assessment Package task from the Tasks tab on the Dashboard. For the basic display of the assessment package header information, see Assessment Package.

Note: This page is also a part of Manage Assessment Package Templates in the Templates section within Admin to be used when creating an Assessment Package template.

Hurdle Criteria page

The Hurdle Criteria section allows you to review the hurdle information. The following elements are displayed:

  • Cutpoint Method. which applicants will proceed from one hurdle to the next. You can set a cutpoint for each hurdle that has at least one rated assessment except for the last hurdle, since there is no additional assessment that will follow it. The options are:
    • None. This option allows you to not use a cutpoint for this hurdle.
    • Hurdle Score Cutpoint. This option allows you to enter the cut-off score associated with each hurdle.
  • Used for Final Rating. A check in this column indicates the assessment hurdle will be used in the final rating.
  • Proportional Weight. This column indicates the weights that should be assigned to each assessment hurdle, if there is more than one hurdle. The Proportional Weights can be adjusted as needed based on job analysis information.
