Creating an item in a competency network

To create an item within a competency network:

1. View a competency network.
2. Click Items.
3. Click Create New Item from the Add Items drop-down list.

    

   

    

4. Enter the Item Text.
5. Toggle on Screen-out Question, if applicable.
6. Select the Link to Competency from the drop-down list.
7. Select the Item Source from the drop-down list.
8. Select the Response Type from the drop-down list.
9. Select a Scale from the drop-down list. If Item-Specific Response Options is selected, see Building custom response options for items created in a competency network for more information.
10. Click Save & Close.
