Test Plan
The Test Plan page allows you to create and run test scenarios with expected outcomes and have the system display the actual outcomes for confirmation of validity. This allows you to identify and correct any discrepancies for screen-outs or rating criteria used. Testing the assessment is allows you to ensure that the screen-outs and ratings are working properly before marking the assessment package as complete. The number in parentheses indicates how many scenarios have been added. To access this page, select a Request Number in Pending Recruitment status from the Dashboard, click the Vacancy Number link in the Vacancy Created section, click the Assessment Package tab, click Assessment Plan and click Test Plan.
Note: This page is also a part of Manage Assessment Package Templates in the Templates section within Admin to be used when creating an Assessment Package template.
The following elements are displayed:
- Add Scenario. This button allows you to create test scenarios. For instructions, see Adding a test scenario to an assessment package.
- Gray box. A check in this box indicates the screen-out will be deleted.
- Scenario. This column displays the name of the test scenario. Access a test scenario by clicking on the link.
- Responses. This column displays the response(s) selected to obtain the expected outcome.
- Rating Combo. This column displays the series and grade combination(s) applied to the test scenario.
- Expected Outcome. This column displays the expected outcome of the response(s) in the test scenario.
- Actual Outcome. This column displays the actual outcome of the response(s) in the test scenario and will display a green or red icon depending on the results of the test.
- Delete Selected. This button will display when a check is placed in the gray box next to a test scenario.
Note: The assessment package cannot be marked complete until the test scenario expected outcome and actual outcome match.
