Editing the announcement overview information

To edit the announcement position information:

  1. Select an announcement.
  2. Click Announcement Text.

  3. Click the edit icon next to the field to be edited.
  4. Edit the text in the field.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Click Release to access the Update to USAJOBS button. If the announcement has been released to USAJOBS, the changes will be reflected on USAJOBS.

Note: If you edit these fields, keep in mind that this change will override the pre-defined Work Schedule and/or Appointment Type options selected. The customized text entered in these fields must be consistent with the selection(s) made on the Announcement Information page.
