The Eligibilities and Ratings page allows you to review an applicant’s ratings, claimed and adjudicated veterans’ preference and eligibilities selected. To access this page, select a Request Number in Pending Recruitment status from the Dashboard, click the Vacancy Number link in the Vacancy Created section, and click the Applicant Overview tab. Select an applicant record by clicking the applicant Name link.

Applicant Eligiblities and Ratings_ Ratings

The Resolve section displays when the applicant may have submitted two applicant records. You will be given the option to either combine the records or consider them separately. The following elements are displayed:

  • Resolve. This column displays the Resolve Now button which allows you to resolve the issue of the two applicant records. For instructions, see Resolving potential applicant matches.
  • Name. This column displays the name of the potential duplicate applicant record.

The Ratings section allows you to review the applicant rating and score information. You can sort any of the columns in this table in ascending or descending order. The following elements are displayed:

  • Rating Details. This button allows you to review the rating specifics as well as remove any overrides from the applicant record.
  • Rating Combo. This column displays the series and grade for which an applicant was found eligible.
  • Minimum Qualifications. This column displays the minimum qualifications. For additional information, see: Notice of Results (NOR) Message Codes.
    • Override icon. This icon indicates an override has occurred on an applicant record.
    • Override icon. Mouse over this icon to display and override an applicant Minimum Qualifications.
  • Final Rating. This column displays the final rating if applicable.
    • Override icon. This icon indicates an override has occurred on an applicant record.
    • Override icon. Mouse over this icon to display and override an applicant's Final Rating.
  • Category. This column displays the quality category as defined in your assessment if applicable.
  • Augmented Rating. This column displays the augmented numerical rating including veteran’s preference points, if applicable. If no veteran’s preference points are added, the augmented rating is the same as the final rating.
  • Cert Availability. This column displays the certificate availability of the applicant. This information is based on the minimum qualifications and other screen-outs for the rating combination, and the applicant’s Return Status for existing certificates.

The Veterans’ Preference section is where you review and adjudicate the applicant veteran’s preference claim. The Veterans’ Preference section displays the following elements:

  • Claimed Preference. This is the veterans’ preference claimed by the applicant during the application process.
  • Adjudicated Preference. This drop-down list allows you to adjudicate veterans’ preference based on supporting documentation submitted by the applicant. For instructions, see Adjudicating veterans' preference.
  • Document Date. This calendar drop-down allows you to enter the date listed on the supporting document.
  • Veterans' preference information is not collected. This message will display when the Do not collect Veterans' Preference for this application vacancy setting is enabled.

The Eligibilities section is where you review and adjudicate the eligibilities claimed by the applicant during the application process. The following elements are displayed:

  • Review Status. This drop-down list allows you to adjudicate the eligibility claimed by the applicant. The options are:
    • Claimed
    • Eligible
    • Ineligible
  • Eligibility. This column displays the eligibility selected by the applicant and the definition. For additional information, see Eligibilities.
  • Add. This button allows to add an eligibility to the applicant record, if appropriate.

The Reasonable Accommodation section will display for applicants who have claimed a reasonable accommodation for a USA Hire assessment.
