Vacancy - Eligibilities

The Eligibilities page is where you designate which eligibilities applicants may be considered for during the referral process. Eligibilities are integrated as part of the questionnaire portion of the job announcement and applicants will be able to select them as part of the online application. The Eligibilities selected by the applicants can be used to sort applicants for review and, in turn, create your referral lists. To access this page, select a Request Number in Pending Recruitment status from the Dashboard, click the Vacancy Number link in the Vacancy Created section, and click Eligibilities. The following elements are displayed on this page:

• +. This icon allows you to expand or collapse all eligibility definitions at the same time. The plus sign no longer displays when the announcement has been released and open to USAJOBS.
• Assign Bundle. This button allows you to assign an Eligibility Bundle to the vacancy. For instructions, see Assigning an eligibility bundle.
• Accept. A check in this box indicates the eligibility as accepted for the vacancy. This is to be used during the referral process. For instructions, see Accepting eligibilities.
• Eligibilities. This column displays a list of the eligibilities currently available for use. Once the announcement is released to USAJOBS, the eligibility questions may only be viewed in the Announcement Questionnaire.
