USA Staffing has a top navigation bar that displays the following options:
- Site Alert. This banner provides information about scheduled system downtime, recent system enhancements, and other notices.
- Dashboard Link. The Home icon provides access to the Dashboard.
- Staffing. The Staffing area displays automatically when you log into the system. If you leave the Staffing area, this link takes you back to the last vacancy accessed.
- Classification. The Classification area displays Position Description Administration.
- Recruit. The Recruit button will take you to the USAJOBS Agency Talent Portal (ATP).
- Admin. The Administration area displays Users & Permissions, Maintenance, Libraries, Templates, Workflow, and System Settings.
- Reports. The Reports area displays the Cognos and Power BI reporting tools.
- Search. This allows for an advanced search. For instructions, see Performing an advanced search.
- Go To. This field allows for a basic search for a known Vacancy Number, Request Number or USAJOBS Control Number. For instructions, see Performing a basic search.
- User Alerts. This Envelope icon displays the most recent 1000 system related notifications such as a returned Review. For instructions, see Viewing user alerts.
- User Name. This field displays the name of the user who is logged in and the dropdown list next to it provides the option to view and edit user profile, settings, user type, tenant and provides the option to logout.
- Task Overview. This icon provides access to the tasks associated with a request.
- Report Options. This icon provides access to the reports feature in USA Staffing. For additional information, see Cognos.
- Question Mark. This icon provides access to context-sensitive online help content based on the page where it is clicked, the capability to submit a help desk ticket via Footprints, and the Vulnerability Disclosure Policy.
