Release 13.4 - 9/24/2021

  • Updated default workflow functionality in the New Hire page when creating an Onboard New Hire request.
    • When there is a single option available in the Office field, the option is selected, and the field is disabled. Otherwise, no option is selected by default and the field is enabled for edit.
    • When an office is selected, the Workflow field will populate with a list of Onboarding workflows available for the selected office.
      • If a default Onboard New Hire workflow has been indicated, it will be pre-populated once the office is selected.
      • If no default Onboard New Hire workflow exists, the Manual Onboarding system level workflow will be pre-populated.

  • Granted users with Edit Request Status permission the ability to update the request status from Incomplete to Request Cancelled. Updating the Status prompts users to select a cancellation reason.

See: Cancelling an incomplete request

Release 13.3 - 8/27/2021

  • Added a validation preventing the cancellation of a New Vacancy or Additional Selection request which has a new hire associated with it. Users will be prompted with the following message: “The request you are trying to cancel is associated with a new hire record. If the new hire is no longer going to enter on duty, update the certificate audit as appropriate to make this determination in the system.”

  • Updated and added validations to the Hiring Need Validated Date and Request Personnel Action Date to require the fields, when populated, to be equal to or greater than ‘1/1/2000’ and in ‘mm/dd/yyyy’ format.

See: Request Information and Create Request Information

  • Replaced the Search hyperlink with an Advanced Search button within Additional Selection requests and enabled partial vacancy number searches in the Search For Vacancy To Link field. Search results now exclude vacancies that are expired, cancelled, or already linked to the request. Additionally, upon linking additional vacancies to an approved Additional Selection request, a banner is displayed to confirm the action taken.

Release 13.2 - 7/30/2021

  • Updated the names of the following request statuses for clarity:
    • From Request Failed to Request Cancelled - Request Failed
    • From Request Not Filled to Request Cancelled - Request Not Filled
    • From Alternate Selection Made to Request Cancelled - Alternate Selection Made

See: Request

  • Removed the ability to create or approve an additional request on expired or cancelled vacancies created through USA Staffing. In these instances, the Create Additional Request or the Show Un-approved Requests buttons will not display.

Release 13.0 - 6/4/2021

  • Defaulted the Request Type field blank to allow users to actively select the type of request they need to create and help prevent inadvertently creating an Onboard New Hire request when creating a request from the New Hires Dashboard.
  • Added the following warning banner: “This request is associated with a retired customer.” to inform users when a request is tied to a retired customer. Users will be able to create a new vacancy from these requests, if necessary.
  • All fields in the Position Settings section from the original request will be copied when creating an additional request from a Certificate. Previously, only the Security Clearance Required, Travel Required, and Supervisory Position settings were copied.

See: Create Request Information

Release 12.9 - 5/7/2021

  • Defaulted the Request Type field blank to allow users to actively select the type of request they need to create and help prevent inadvertently creating a New Vacancy request.

See: Create Request Information

Release 12.5 - 1/15/2021

  • When a New Vacancy or Onboard New Hire request is approved, any Tags added to the request will populate in the Tags field on the Vacancy Settings page or New Hire Onboarding Information page, respectively. Note: Users can update tags in the Vacancy or New Hire record as needed; however, those updates will not flow back to the approved request. Tags available within a Vacancy or New Hire are filtered based on the office associated with the Vacancy or New Hire. Tags available within a request are filtered based on the customer associated with the request. Therefore, a tag populated from a request and subsequently deleted may no longer be available for selection in a Vacancy or New Hire.

See: Create Request Information

Release 12.4 - 12/10/2020

  • Added grades 46 through 90 for Pay Plans with no designated grade range; for example, CN.
