Release 14.7 - 9/23/2022
New Hire
- Added the Task Result information to the tooltip when hovering over the Task Status on the Human Resources owned list of tasks in the Manage Tasks page within a new hire record. Note: If the task is pending update, No Result Entered will display. If the task has not been linked to a Task Results Set, No Result Set Associated will display.

- Documents added from the Position Description, Vacancy, or Request to a New Hire record through the Add from USA Staffing option will open as PDF in a new tab when viewed within the New Hire record. Also, history entries will be visible in the document viewer to include who added the document and who has viewed the document and/or made changes to the Document Type.

Selective Service System Interconnection
- The first 20 characters of the New Hire’s Last Name will be sent to SSS. This will help reduce the number of Error 99s seen by new hires with last names longer than 20 characters.

Selective Service System Interconnection
- Added error messages returned by the SSS interconnection for the Verify Selective Service System Registration for Eligible New Hires task. If the interconnection returns a response of Error 99, upon updating the task note users will see any applicable errors. Examples include:
- There are no records in the Database before January 1, 1960
- To register for Selective Service, you must be at least 17 Years Old
- Last Name must be between 1 and 20 characters

Release 14.3 - 6/3/2022
New Hire
- Added the Preliminary Acceptance date on the Overview page within a New Hire record when a new hire accepts an invitation notification type by clicking “Yes, please continue” but does not enter their login.gov credentials to proceed.

- New Hires will see a “No Active Records” message when accessing an inactive or cancelled record via the link included in an Invitation, Tentative Offer, or Official Offer notification.
- Modified the Credentials Registered Successfully notification to include the name, email, and department of the Process Owner assigned to the New Hire record. If no Process Owner is assigned, the email will include the information for the user who sent the Invitation, Tentative Offer, or Official Offer notification.
- When an Additional Agency Contact has been added in the New Hire record, a new section will display in the New Hire Contact Us pop-up information titled Additional Agency Contacts. If a custom title is used for the Additional Contacts field on the New Hire Overview, the custom title will also display. This section will contain the name, email, and phone number for the contact(s) added in the new hire record.

Selective Service System Interconnection
- Created the ability for the Verify Selective Service System Registration system task to automatically assign to eligible new hire records after their initial submission of the OF-306 when they answer yes to being born a male after December 31, 1959.
- Finished the integration work needed to request a new hire’s Selective Service Registration status, using data submitted through the OF-306, and update the Verify Selective Service System Registration Task Result based on the response received by the Selective Service System interconnection.
- Provided a way for users to manually update the Verify Selective Service System Registration Task Result if the interconnection returns a “Not Verified”, “Error - See Notes”, or “Other - See Notes” result according to their agency policy.

Release 13.6 - 11/19/2021
New Hire
- The system will automatically save the data on the page before a new hire is logged out of the onboarding system after 15 minutes of inactivity.
- Added a system-level task titled Complete Human Resources Questionnaire, which indicates the status of the Human Resources questionnaires. This task will be automatically assigned to all new hire records upon creation and will be automatically completed based on completion of the HR questionnaires. Note: This task cannot be manually completed.

- Once a new hire has successfully logged into their USAJOBS/Login.gov account through the New Hire interface, they will receive an email notification that confirms their credentials have registered successfully. The email notification will be sent to the email address/Login.gov account used to authenticate their credentials to assist new hires in identifying the correct account used for onboarding purposes.
