Release 17.2 - 9/23/2024

  • The following forms have been added in USA Staffing:

Release 17.1 - 8/23/2024

  • Modified the display for Start Date/Projected EOD Date in the new hire header. The Start Date will display once the HR user completes the Verify New Hire Arrived for First Day of Duty task and verified the new hire has entered on duty. The Projected EOD Date displays instead if the new hire has not yet arrived, and the Projected Entrance-On-Duty Date has been input in the new hire Position Information Questionnaire. If the date has not been input into the new hire questionnaire, nothing will display.

Release 17.0 - 7/26/2024

  • Enabled auto-complete for the Establish Projected Entry on Duty Date task when the Projected Entrance-On-Duty Date is saved in the HR questionnaire. Note: If the date is later removed, the task will re-activate, and the previously saved completion date will be removed. If this task is assigned to the new hire record after the Projected Entrance-On-Duty Date has been saved, the Establish Projected Entry on Duty Date task will need to be completed manually.

Selective Service System Interconnection

  • Granted users with the Edit Task Details permission the ability to manually trigger a single TaskUpdate API request to the Selective Service System Interconnection when the integration initially returns an error result response. Users can click the Refresh Result link underneath the Task Result in the Verify Selective Service Registration task details area of the new hire record.

  • Added validation to the Social Security Number (SSN) field in the onboarding interface for new hires. New hires will be required to enter their SSN and confirm it, and both values must match before they can proceed, to increase security and accuracy.

Release 16.8 - 5/31/2024

  • Added County and Geo Locator Code fields to accurately identify the New Hire's duty location. The drop-down lists for these fields use the same values available in the Location field on requests. Both fields are optional; however, a county must be selected to view/refresh the values available in the geo locator code list. Note: These fields will be pre-populated from the Request in a future release. These fields are now available for New Hire Interconnection (NHI) customers who would like to add them to their NHIs.

  • Modified the New Hire Activity Summary toggle to be disabled in records where it is not applicable, for example, records in Complete, Cancelled, or Inactive status.

Release 16.6 - 3/29/2024

  • Updated the New Hire header information to include the following changes:
    • Moved the Verify Arrival button to the header, making it convenient for users to verify a new hire arrived for their first day of duty from any page on the new hire record. Note: same permissions and validations apply.
    • Moved New Hire Activity Summary toggle to the header so users can easily toggle this new hire notification on/off from any page.
    • Removed the new hire’s name since it is always visible from the recently accessed dropdown at the top of the page.
    • Added the following fields:
      • Start Date
      • Position Title
      • Pay Plan – Series – Grade and Step
      • Office
      • Request Number
      • Vacancy Number
      • Announcement Number
      • Certificate Number

  • Redesigned the Onboarding Information page to group and organize information more effectively and provide direct access to the Position Information Questionnaire by clicking the edit icon next to Position Information. Added the following information to the Position Information section of the page, which displays the information entered in the Position Information Questionnaire:

    • Position Sensitivity and Risk
    • Security Clearance
    • Duty Location
    • Salary
    • Projected Entrance-On-Duty Date
    • Effective Date of Appointment

Release 16.4 - 2/2/2024

  • Modified the timing of when the Transmit Forms to eOPF and Transmit Documents to eOPF tasks are assigned a due date. Once the new hire has been verified as arriving on duty, the due date of these tasks is set to 90 days after the new hire's start date.

  • Added an Activity Summary toggle on the Onboarding Information page within a New Hire record. This toggle is automatically defaulted on (enabled) for all new hire records. When the Activity Summary toggle is enabled, New Hires in Active status will receive a single batched notification email on Monday, Wednesday and Friday identifying all overdue and upcoming tasks, the action required, and due date. New Hires in Complete, Inactive, and Cancelled status will not receive any Activity Summary notifications. Changes made to this toggle are captured in History.
