Release 13.3 - 8/27/2021

Assessment Package

  • Made usability improvements to the gear icon on the Assessment Package page to ensure options appear consistently without users having to refresh the page.
    • When the assessment package is in Incomplete status, the following options will display:
      • Create Review
      • Select Template
      • Save as Template
      • Print Assessment
      • Clear Assessment Package Content
    • When the assessment package is in Complete status, the following options will display:
      • Create Review
      • Save as Template
      • Create Competency Network
      • Print Assessment

  • Updated the indicators for screen-out and required questions for improved usability:
    • Screen-out questions will be designated by a blue circle icon to the left of the item number, instead of the previously used - indicator.
    • The required * indicator will be displayed after the period for the question number, rather than at the end of the item text.

  • Added the Assessment Content Report under the reports button located on the Assessment Package and individual Assessment pages within a vacancy. Selecting the Assessment Content Report will open a new browser tab with the vacancy and assessment information pre-populated in the report prompt page. This report provides information about the content of an assessment package, including assessments, competency data, item information, and rating criteria. It can be run in various formats, including HTML and Excel.

Assessment

  • Added a Please wait, Loading indicator when adding a competency from the library for improved usability.

  • Replaced the Apply Action dropdown button with single action Apply Competency, Apply Scale, and Delete buttons, which display when Select All or at least one item is selected on the Assessment Questionnaire page.

Assessment Package

  • Defaulted the Competency Status dropdown Published status. HR users are still be able to select other statuses to search for if needed.

Assessment

  • Added a Checklist page when creating an Assessment Questionnaire within an Assessment Package or Assessment Package Template. This allows users to verify all required validations are met directly from the assessment.

  • Added the option to include either filtered or all applicants and the ability to include email and/or phone number(s) in a manual export file.

Release 12.9 - 5/7/2021

Assessment

  • Made the following usability improvements in the Assessment Questionnaire Rating Criteria page within a vacancy's Assessment Package and Assessment Package Template:
    • Updated the default view to show all rating combinations expanded.
    • Added expand all (+) and collapse all (-) options for the rating combinations.
    • Added expand all (+) and collapse all (-) options on the Item Weights pop-up when clicking on a competency link under a rating combination.
    • Added left and right arrow buttons to navigate to the previous or next competency within the Item Weights pop-up.

Release 12.8 - 4/9/2021

Assessment

  • The following usability improvements have been incorporated on the Test Plan page:
    • Added a scrollbar to the list of individual items so test responses can be viewed when selecting an item towards the bottom of a longer list.
    • Disabled autocomplete for the Response textbox.
    • Once an ELTE scenario is saved, both the Final Rating and Raw Score will be displayed in the Actual Rating field.
    • Included an Add Expected Outcome button when there are available rating combinations not included in the test plan.

Release 12.6 - 2/12/2021

Assessment

  • Added the ability to test assessments individually when more than one Assessment Questionnaire is used within an Assessment Package.
    • Each Assessment Questionnaire will include its own Test Plan page following the Rating Criteria. The Vacancy Assessment Package checklist validations have been updated to apply to each Assessment Test Plan respectively.
    • Users will now be able to test their Assessment Questionnaires after adding a USA Hire or Manual Assessment Questionnaire to the package.

Note: Vacancy Assessment Packages with Test Plan content, will have existing Test Scenarios copied to each Assessment Questionnaire Test Plan page.

Assessment

  • Users will have the option to document which competencies are being assessed as part of a Manual Assessment. The Competencies page for Manual Assessments functions in the same way as it does for Assessment Questionnaires, allowing users to create new competencies or add them from the library.

  • Added History records for changes made to the following fields within an assessment after an announcement has been opened and released to USAJOBS:

Release 12.3 - 11/13/2020

Assessment Package

  • HR Users with Create Assessment permission will see a new Choose Assessment Path pop-up window upon navigating to the Assessment Plan sub-page in a Vacancy that does not yet have any Assessment Package content and is not in a No Assessments Required complete status. This window will display the following three options:
    • Select Template – Search the Assessment Package Template Library for a suitable template to use or modify for this recruitment. Selecting this option will present the Choose Template popup.
    • Create Assessment – Build a new assessment for this recruitment. Selecting this option will create a new assessment for the user to complete.
    • No Assessments Required – There are no assessments needed for this recruitment. Selecting this option will check the No Assessments Required checkbox and mark the Assessment Package Complete.

Release 12.2 - 10/16/2020

Assessment Package

  • Added the ability to set the purpose of the assessment on the Assessment Information page:
    • Screen-Out (enabled by default)
    • Rating (enabled by default)

  • Rearranged the options presented on the Assessment Information page. Changes include:
    • Moved the Assessment ID to the header of the assessment.
    • Removed the Date Created field from the page. This date is captured in History.

  • For manual assessments, standardization options will display as appropriate based on selected toggles:
    • If the manual assessment is used for Rating, the option to Standardize scores can be enabled.
    • If the option to Standardize Scores is enabled, the option to Standardize using custom values can be enabled.
